That is a somewhat dangerous thing to do if you don't have much technical knowledge, and there's no reason to do that if it was working before the hard drive replacement. If you know what motherboard you have you can find the right drivers to install. The CPU is lowering it's speed during those stutters because it's not being stressed at that time, since the game isn't really running (it's frozen for a few seconds). ![]() How did you know that the hard drive was bad in the first place? The CPU voltage drops because it doesn't need all that voltage when it's running at a lower speed, that's normal. I need to know the CPU/GPU temps while gaming, and also if you did a complete clean install of Windows on the new hard drive or used migration software. I also need to know which games this has happened in, and if you're positive they didn't happen before the hard drive switch. ![]() You never gave the full specs of your system, I need those. ![]()
